FISHEL, 80, husband of the late Mattie E. FISHEL, 739 Robin road, Lancaster, died Monday at 10:45 p. m. at St. Joseph’s hospital, Lancaster. Born in Seven Valleys. He was the son of the late Israel G. and Lucy KUHL FISHEL. A graduate of the former Millersville State Normal school, Mr. FISHEL later operated a grocery store in West York. In 1947 he moved to Asheville, N. C., where he operated a variety store. He was associated with Asheville YMCA in a supervisor capacity, and was a 32nd degree Mason who was recently honored for his 50th year in the lodge. He was a veteran of World War I, having served overseas with an ordnance company. He was a charter member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian church in Asheville, and had been a member of the Exchange clubs of West York and Asheville. Surviving are a daughrter, Mrs. Joseph T. KINGSTON, Lancaster; a son, Dr. Howard E. FISHEL, Torrance, Calif; a grandchild, and two brothers, John N. FISHEL Seven Valleys RD 1, and Harry C. FISHEL, Bair. Rev. John Henry SANDO, Harrisburg, a former pastor of Bethany Reformed church, will officiate at the funeral tomorrow at 10:30 a. m. from Max G. Anstine Funeral home, 1701 West Market street.
