Fissel, aged 78 years, a well-known retired merchant of Boiling Springs, died suddenly at his home on Saturday morning from heart trouble. Mr. Fissel had been in the general store business and was widely known. He was a member of the United Brethren Church, the Patriotic Order Sons of America and the Order of United American Mechanics of Boiling Springs. He is survived by his wife and three daughter, Mrs. C. F. Kuhn, Boiling Springs; Mrs. John Myers, Mechanicsburg, and Mrs. Samuel Rhoads, of Carlisle; a brother, Niles Fissel, of Carlisle, and a sister, Mrs. Jacob Stroh, of Carlisle.
