Mrs. Jacob W. Frey

After a protracted illness incident to advanced years, Mrs. Magdalena Frey, 
widow of Jacob W. Frey, late of Penn township, died Sunday, August 17, at 5:30 
p.m., aged 84 years, 5 months and 22 days.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Mellinger, of Lancaster 
county, and is survived by five sons and two daughters, as follows:  David M., 
Jacob M. and Benjamin M. Frey, of Hanover; Martin, of Brushtown, Adams county; 
and John Frey, of Heidelberg township; Mrs. Mary Kroh, of Westminster, Md.; and 
Mrs. Paul Krug, of Carlisle street extended, Hanover.  She is also survived by 
three brothers and two sisters, David K. Mellinger, of Mountville, Lancaster 
county; Abraham K. Mellinger, of Lancaster; Henry Mellinger, of Manor township, 
Lancaster county; Mrs. Lizzie Musser, of Columbia, and Mrs. Fannie Hershey, of 
Silver Springs, Lancaster county.

Funeral Wednesday, August 20, brief services at the house at 9:30 a.m., further 
services and interment at Bair’s meeting-house.  Rev. Daniel Stump and Rev. J. 
C. Miller officiating.
