Fridinger died suddenly at his home at Jonestown, Pa, at 5:30 o’clock Monday morning from heart trouble, aged 54 years. Rev. Fridinger who has been a minister of the United Brethren Church for the past 25 years had been transferred from Jonestown to New Holland, Lancaster County, by the recent church conference held in Philadelphia and on Sunday preached his first sermon to his new congregation. He was preparing to move his family to New Holland this week. Rev. Fridinger was a son of the late Edward Fridinger and Mrs. Cecelia (Wine) Fridinger who resides at No. 432 Baltimore Street. He was born in Carroll County, Md., and was a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Pa. He was married to Miss Emelia Wine who died about 26 years ago. From this union the following children survive: Willis Fridinger, Sephinia Fridinger and Miss Maud Estella Fridinger, all of Reading, Pa. About 24 years ago he was married to Miss Clara Frank, of Millers Station, Md., and is survived by the following children: Rev. Myrtus Fridinger, Intercourse, Pa.; Paul, John and Esther Fridinger, at home. There are also eight grandchildren surviving and the following brother and sisters: Theodore Fridinger, of Manchester; Mrs. Amelia Leppo, Westminster; Mrs. Jacob Sterner, Nace’s Store; Mrs. John Greenholt and Mrs. Charles Wentz, of Baltimore Street, and Mrs. Edward Snyder, Jr., of Centennial Avenue, Hanover.
