Mrs. Virgie C. Fritz, wife of Oliver J. Fritz, 618 Frederick street, died this
morning at 11:35 o'clock from a complication of diseases at the age of 53 years. 
She was a daughter of John and Mary Martz Herring, and was born November 16, 
1877. 
Surviving are her husband and the following brothers and sisters:  George 
Herring and Mervin Herring, Orrtanna, David Herring, Biglerville; Mrs. Grant 
Herring, Fairfield; Mrs. Joseph Smith, Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Charles Baumgardner, 
Hanover, and Mrs. Leslie Bishop, Ortanna.  The funeral will be held Saturday 
afternoon with services conducted at the home at 1 o'clock and further obsequies 
in Flohr's church Adams county.  Rev. Harry Hursh Beidleman, pastor of St. 
Matthew's Lutheran church, will officiate.  Burial will be made in the Flohr's 
church cemetery.
