Mrs. Mary C. Gibbs Dies
Mrs. Mary C. Gibbs, widow of Joseph S. Gibbs, died at 11 a.m. today at the 
home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Gibbs, West 
Pennsylvania Ave, with whom she resided. Death was due to complications. The 
deceased woman was in her 83rd(?) year of age and had been sick for a year but 
was only confined to bed for three weeks.
   She is survived by the following children: Peter T. Gibbs, Baltimore; Mrs. 
Smiley Badders, White Hall RD; George E. Gibbs, Stewartstown; John C. Gibbs, 
New Freedom; Benjamin F. Gibbs, Stewartstown; William A. Gibbs, York, and 
Joseph W. Gibbs, Stewartstown, two brothers, Charles Carman and William A. 
Carman, both of Fallstown, Md. 
     The funeral will be held Monday morning meeting at the Gibbs home at 9:30 
o'clock, with concluding services in the Stewartstown Methodist protestant 
church of which the deceased woman was a member. Rev. Charles B. Rubey, pastor 
of the church, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Stewartstown 
cemetery. 
     The funeral arrangements are in charge of Paul N. Hartenstein, funeral 
director, New Freedom.
