John Grisby

Word was received here of the death of John Grisby, (colored) which occurred at 
his late home in Lancaster, Wednesday, Aug. 23d.  He was aged about 63 years.

The deceased was a former Hanoverian having worked for many years for H. A. 
Smith and Geo. D. Gitt.  He left Hanover six years ago.

He is survived by his wife who was Miss Fannie Keys, of Hanover.

The remains were brought to Hanover, Saturday at 9:40 a.m. over the P. R. R. and 
will be taken in charge by W. Bair’s Sons, funeral directors.  Interment in Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.
