Hamburg Another aged citizen of Hanover has passed away, John A. Hamburg died at Hotel O’Bold Tuesday, July 7, at 7 a.m. from a complication of diseases. He reached the age of 87 years. Mr. Hamburg was born in Taneytown, Md., and came to Hanover when a young man. For many years he was employed as a pattern-maker in the shops of the late Conrad Moul, Samuel Fitz and later Jacob Fitz, in the manufacturing of threshing machines. Of a quiet and courteous disposition, he was greatly esteemed by all who knew him. He was twice married. His first wife was Miss Anna Adlesberger, who died many years ago. About ten years after he death he was united in marriage to Miss Rebecca Breighner, whose death occurred six years ago. The deceased is survived by one brother, John Hamburg, who resides in California, and a number of nephews and nieces living in Franklin county. Funeral Thursday, July 11.
