Hannigan Third Of Family Of Twelve Brothers and Sisters to Expire ---- LIVED AT GLEN ROCK Glen Rock. Dec 18- The death at the West Side sanitarium, York at 1:06 o'clock this morning of Jacob F, Hannigan, one of Glen Rock's best known citizens, is the third within a half year in a family of eight brothers and four sisters. Mr. Hannigan succumbed to an intestinal ailment for which he was aperated (spelled this way) upon several days ago. He was admitted to the institution last Sunday. Mr. Hannigan, who was 69 years, 2 (?)months and 16 days old, resided in Glen Rock for more than 40 years. A sister, Mrs. Isabella Reachard of this city, died last June and another brother, F: J. Hannigan, died in Tallahusee, Fla., in October of this year. Surviving him are two sons, Charles, of Illinois, who was in a race against death from his home in order to see the father before he expired, and Dale, of Marietta: one daughter, Mrs. Samuel Barnd of Glen Rock: six brothers: William R., of Felton, and A. H., of Erie, twins; J.T., of Dallastown; D.F. of Hopewell township; U. Grant 110 East College avenue, York; D. Alexander, of Baltimore; also three sisters: Mrs. Mary Lutz, of East Hopewell township; Mrs. Ella Hannigan of Dallastown, and Mrs. Ida Gemmill, also of East Hopewell township. The body was removed from institution by George W. Geiple and Son, Glen Rock, funeral directors, to his home here, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in the local Union cemetery.
