Chester H. Hartman

Chester H. Hartman of Blue Ridge Haven West, Camp Hill, died of natural causes 
at 8 a.m. yesterday at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.  He was 88.

Mr. Hartman was a cigar-maker in the Dallastown area and in later years was a 
delivery person for Minnich Bakery in York.

Born in Scotland, Franklin County, a son of the late Lewis and Gertrude Hughes 
Hartman, he leaves a son, Richard C. Hartman, Dallastown; four grandchildren; 11 
great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond 
Hartman, York; and a sister, Marie Hershner, York.

Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience 
of the family in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, is in 
charge of arrangements.
