Nelson Haugh Funeral services for Pvt. Nelson L. Haugh, son of Mrs. Pearl Haugh and the late Clark Haugh , Wrightsville, RD 1, near bridgeville, who was killed in action June 7, 1944 in Normandy,France will be conducted at 1 o`clock Tuesday afternoon at F.B. Olewiler Funeral home, Red Lion. Pvt Haugh was 21, was serving with Company "B" of the 501st Parachute Infantry regimetn when he lost his life. Besides his mother, he leaves the following brothers and sisters: John S. Haugh, Wrightsville, Rd 1; Mrs. Raymond Keller, Red Lion Rd 2; Mrs. Norman Speakman, Kelton Chester County; Mrs Roy Dunlap, Felton RD 2; Mrs. Wilbur Robinson Laurel RD 1 and Emory and Walter Haugh, both at home. He attended Shenberger`s Chapel Sunday school, New Bridgeville. Interment will be in Shenberger`s Chapel cemetery. Additional Comments: Uncle Nelson was not returned home until two years after his death. He was originally buried in France.
