She was about seventy-eight years old. The Heffners are originally from Chanceford township where they had relatives and many friends. Besides her husband, Mrs. Heffner is survived by two sons, Charles N. and Walter Heffner, both of this city and four daughters, Mrs. Emma J. Herr, West College avenue; Mrs. Millie Rider, South George street; Mrs. Alice M. Blouse, South Duke street, and Mrs. Ida Sprenkle, East Church avenue. A brother, William Sprenkle, of Loganville, and a sister, Mrs. Matilda Hovis, of Spry, also survive. The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with services at the house and interment in Prospect Hill cemetery. Additional Comments: Eliza Sprenkle was the d/o Michael Sprenkle & Lydia Barnhart. She married (1) Philip Snyder, who died during the Civil War while serving in Co. K, 200th PA Infantry; and (2) Simon Heffner. She had two children by Mr. Snyder (Alice & Ida) and five children by Mr. Heffner (Walter, Millie, Fannie, Charles & Emma).
