He was 74 years old. While sitting at the table eating his dinner, he was suddenly stricken with paralysis and died a few minutes thereafter. Dr. H. M. Alleman was hastily summoned, but Mr. Heil was beyond human aid. This was the third paralytic stroke Mr. Heil received during the past eight months. The deceased was a miller by occupation, for many years living at Heil’s mill, West Manheim township. He moved to Hanover three years ago, and since that time lived with his son John Heil, proprietor of the Exchange hotel. Besides his son he is survived by five daughters: Mrs. George Reily, of Midway, Mrs. Howard Fuhrman, Mrs. Henry Saltzgiver, Mrs. Lydia Millheim, and Mrs. Nelson Reichart, West Manheim township. He is also survived by one sister, Miss Kate Heil, living in Westminster, Md. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, December 21, 1912
