Emanuel Herman

Emanuel Herman, a retired farmer, died at his residence, 470 West Market street, York, last 
night, from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy received four days ago.  He was 69 years, 4 
months and 15 days old.  He is survived by two sons, William J., and Luther D. Herman, of York, 
a sister, Mrs. Sarah Glatfelter, of Spring Grove and two brothers, William H. and Jacob Herman, 
of Manchester township.  Funeral from his late home Monday at 2 p.m.  Interment in Prospect 
Hill cemetery that city.
