Services were held at the residence of William A. Himes, at 1 o'clock, by Rev. F. Hesse, of the Lutheran Church, after which the remains together with the relatives and friends, were brought to Hanover in a special train, which arrived here at 2 o'clock. The funeral then at once proceeded to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, where interment was made. The pall-bearers were Z. H. Cashman, Amos Lough, J. E. C. Miller, C. A. Diehl, J. McClean Gilbert and Jame Weikert. Among the relatives and friends accompanying the remains were: Paul Hersh, Abdiel F. Gitt, Mrs. William A. Himes, Helen, Anna and Amelia Himes, C. T. Klippinger and wife, C. K. Yeager and wife, Misses Margie and Bessie Gitt, Allen Hersh, J. N. Hersh, Mrs. J. O. Swartz, Mrs. Jacob E. Myers, Mrs. Harry Plymire, Mrs. William Wine, Mrs. Hanson Hersh, of New Oxford, Mrs. William Hollinger, and Mrs. Clayton Hollinger, of Abbottstown, William Hersh, of Gettysburg, Frank Hersh, of Baltimore, Miss Amelia Eichelberger, C. R. McCosh, wife, daughter Irma and son Robert, Misses Emily Trone and Emily J. Young, R. M. Wirt and wife, Mrs. J. D. Zouck, and George Clippinger, of Hanover.
