Charles H. Hildebrand

Charles H. Hildebrand, 81, husband of Irene Reisinger Hildebrand, died Monday at 
10 p.m. at his residence, 353 Prospect street.

He was a son of the late John and Leah Hengst Hildebrand.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Hildebrand was employed as a custodian at Valencia 
ballroom for 14 years.

He was a member of First Moravian church, Crystal Lodge 248, Knights of Pythias; 
Codorus Council 115, Junior Order United American Mechanics; Rex Hook and Ladder 
company and Firemen’s Relief association.

Also surviving are a son, Ward A. Hildebrand, Downingtown, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. 
Albert Ailes, Blythe, Calif.; a brother Winfield Hildebrand, York; five 
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Edward W. Baumeister 
Colonial mortuary, Queen and Jackson streets.  Rev. Vernon I. Graf, pastor of 
Moravian church in Lancaster, will officiate.  Burial will be in Prospect Hill 
cemetery.
