All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ John Henry Hildebrand, a retired farmer, who resided in this city for the past thirty-three years, died yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of his son, Charles Hildebrand, 355 Prospect street. Death was due to a complication of diseases. The deceased was 76 years, 5 months and 14 days of age, and is survived by his wife, Leah and six sons and daughters: Mrs. William Baublitz, Charles Hildebrand, Clinton Hildebrand and W. B. Hildebrand of York, and Mrs. D. K. Taylor and Pius Hildebrand, of Dallastown. Funeral services will be held from the home of his son, Charles Hildebrand, 355 Prospect street, on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock and from Salem church, Jacobus at 10:30 o’clock, the officiating ministers will be Rev. J. J. Stauffer and Rev. Aaron Spangler. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. The Gazette and Daily – Saturday, April 10, 1920
