All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ Mrs. Ella Amanda Hoke Mrs. Ella Amanda Hoke, wife of George Hoke, a well known merchant of Nashville, died at 12:30 o’clock Friday morning, 14th, after suffering for a week with pneumonia. She was 83 years, 9 months and 13 days old. She had been a resident of Nashville for the past 27 years. She was a member of the Reformed congregation at Wolf’s union church, Jackson township. Surviving are her husband, four sons and two daughters, Paul, Harry, Samuel, Philip, Elizabeth and Katie, all at home. One brother, Eli Stambaugh, Thomasville, and three sisters, Mrs. John Martin, Mrs. Daniel Baker, Thomasville, and Mrs. David Brenneman, Bott’s station, also survive. Funeral on Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the house, further services and interment at Wolf’s church, Rev. O. P. Schellhamer, officiating. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, March 22, 1913
