HOOPES

Mrs. Mary A. Hoopes, widow of Azael Hoopes, died Saturday evening at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. David Bentz, of R. D. No. 1, of heart trouble and dropsy.  
The funeral was held Tuesday morning, from her late home, in charge of Rev. E. 
M. Aller.  Interment was made in the Friends' cemetery, near Wellsville.

Mrs. Hoopes was aged 77 years, 7 months and 20 days.  She is survived by the 
following children:  J. E. Hoopes, New York City, W. E. Hoopes, Annie C. Hoopes, 
York, and Mrs. David Bentz, of Dillsburg R. D. 1 two brothers John Krall, of 
Harrisburg, Jesse Krall, of Elcock.  The pallbearers were:  J. E. Hoopes, W. E. 
Hoopes, Lewis A. Bentz, Jr., and R. F. Long.
