She was eighty three years, five months and two days old and at the time of her death was living with her daughter, Mrs. Payne Manifold. She is survived by thirteen children- Mrs. Harvey Anderson of Stewartstown, Mrs. John T. Fairchild of Cambridge, Ohio, Mrs. Clinton Johnson of Stewartstown, Mrs. John S. Hoover of York, Mrs. John Wilson of Dolf, Mrs. Daniel W. Breneman of Cross Roads, Miss Alice Hyson of Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico, Dr. J Miller Hyson of Red Lion, A. F. Hyson of Hagerstown, Md. Robert B. Hyson of Bridgeton, Pa. Pleasant O. Hyson of Omaha, Neb. And Mrs. Payne Manifold of Stewartstown. All her children attended the funeral obsequies but Mrs. Fairchild and Miss Alice Hyson. Services were conducted at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Carl G. H. Ettlick the pastor. Mrs. Hyson had been a member of this Church for 63 years. Misses Allie and Edwin Manfield, J.M. Gemmill and James Manfield sang a quartette entitled “Gathering Home” which had been played at her husband’s and daughter’s funerals. The pallbearers were six of her nephews Clinton Johnson, Charles Wilson, Clinton Anderson, Reyburn Breneman, Mantz Hyson and Robert Anderson. Internment was made in Hopewell Cemetery.
