GIRL ENDS LIFE

York, May 7. - After writing a pathetic letter to her mother with the point of a 
pen dipped in her own blood, Miss Elsie Inglefritz, 24 years old, a pretty 
brunette, turned on three gas jets in her room at the home of Attorney George W. 
Bacon and died from asphyxiation.  Impaired health, it is said, caused the young 
woman to end her life.  When she was discovered this morning a letter scrawled 
in blood which she had drawn from beneath her finger nails was found beside her.
