East Berlin, June 11.-Cornelius Jacobs of this place died last Thursday morning from an ulcer in the liver, aged 75 years, 2 months and 3 days. He was confined to his bed three weeks. He was born and raised in Paradise township, York Co., close to Jacob's Mill, and was one of our enterprising farmers. Nine years ago he quit farming, moving to this place, building himself a nice home. Funeral on Sunday, services by Rev. Sheilheimer of York, interment at Holtzswam church. A. B. Trimmer funeral director, the pall bearers being Wm. Sunday, John E. Zinn, Christian March, Joseph Bowser, Henry Trostle and M. B. Wiley. He is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter, Charles of Reading township, William of Cleveland, Ohio, Harry at home and Mrs. Clarence Ruff of New Oxford.
