Jacobs, widow of George B. Jacobs, died at 8 a.m. yesterday at the family residence, 731 West King street. Death was caused by acute indigestion from which she suffered for the past two weeks. She was 70 years old. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren. She leaves four sons, G. Oscar Jacobs, Howard E. Jacobs, William P. Jacobs, all of this city; and Archie J. Jacobs, of Philadelphia; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin S. Eckhardt, of this city; and Mrs. John Brunner, of York Haven; four sisters, Mrs. Howard Hershey, of York Springs; Mrs. George Wolf, of Abbottstown; Mrs. Hattie Baker, of this city; and Mrs. Susan Barber, of New Mexico; and a brother, Ellsworth Homer, of Baltimore, 20 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at the late home at 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon. Further services will be held at the First Church of the Brethren, King street and Belvidere avenue, at 1:15 o’clock. Interment will take place in Mummert’s Meeting House cemetery.
