Virginia R. Jarels, 71, of Annandale, Va., formerly of Hanover, died Friday, April 12, 1991, at her home.

Born in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Craft H. and Evelyn Sheets Haines.  She was the wife of the late John Jarels 
who died in 1968.

Mrs. Jarels was employed as a clerk-typist with the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are a daughter, Henrietta Andree Supko of Chantilly, Va.; a son, John Jarels of Laurel, Md.; six grandchildren; one 
great-granddaughter, and a brother, Jack Haines of Berryville, Va.

The funeral will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday at Wetzel Funeral Home, Inc., 549 Carlisle St., Hanover.  The Rev. Orrin Orewiler 
will officiate.  Visitation will be held Thursday evening at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
