Neck Broken in Fall

Robert A. Kilgore, a native of this county, broke his neck in a fall caused by a stroke of 
paralysis, Saturday night last, and died at his home in Columbia Wednesday, March 26.

At the time he sustained his injuries he was in the lace mill, where he was employed as 
watchman.  He was found at the foot of a flight of stairs, the entire length of which he is 
supposed to have fallen when rendered unconscious by the stroke.

The deceased was born in York county April 25, 1848, and was in his sixty-fifth year.
