Mrs. Jacob Kline

Mrs. Maria Kling, widow of the late Jacob C. Kling, Esq., died at the home of her son-in-law, 
C. W. Baumgardner, at Hobart, West Manheim township, Saturday, March 22, at 4 p.m., from 
pneumonia, aged 77 years.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Roth, late of Cumberland county, and is 
survived by three sons – Geo. E. Kling, Esq., of Pleasant Hill; Amos M. Kling, and Jacob C. 
Kling, East Middle street, Hanover, and one daughter, Mrs. C. W. Baumgardner, with whom she 
lived since the death of her husband five years ago.  She is also survived by one brother, John 
H. Roth, of near West Fairview, Cumberland county, and two sisters, Mrs. Catharine Sherman, of 
Cumberland county, and Mrs. Neoma Cerer, of Harrisburg.

Funeral Tuesday, March 25, brief services at the home at 9 a.m., and further services and 
interment at Sherman’s church, Rev. J. H. Hartman officiating.
