Daniel Knaub

Daniel Knaub died yesterday morning at 11 o’clock in the family residence, 130 
East Orange street, from an attack of pneumonia after a several days’ sickness.  
He was 70 years old and is survived by the following children:  Samuel, Emanuel, 
William, Leander, Mrs. Ellen Bruel, all of this city, Harry and John, residence 
unknown, Mrs. Carrie Anderson, of Andersontown, Monaghan township; Mrs. Alice 
Welrey, of York county; one grandson, Albert Hoover, of this city, and 10 
brothers and sisters, George, of Saginaw, this county; Adam, Benjamin, Emanuel, 
Mrs. Anna Gingerich, Mrs. Catharine Hartman, Mrs. Eliza Hoover, Sarah Knaub, all 
of Starview; John, of Mt. Wolf, and Mrs. Leah Sherbone, of Philadelphia.  The 
body was taken yesterday to Boll’s undertaking rooms and will be sent to 
Jerusalem church tomorrow where services and interment will take place.
