JOSEPH S. LANIUS
Died monday evening, April 27th, at his home in Pylesville, Md. age 78 years. 
The funeral was held on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the house. The 
services were held at Center church and interment was made in the church 
cemetery. He is survived by two sons, J. Harry Lanius, Pylesville, and 
Springet Lanius, who lives at the old home; also by three daughters, Mrs. J. 
Clay Anderson, of Stewartstown; Mrs. John Jenkins, New York; and Mrs. Garfield 
Harry of near Pylesville.
     Mr. Lanius for many years resided in the vicinity of New Park, York 
county, but had more recently lived with his son, J. Harry Lanius, at 
Pylesville.
