Edwin Lenhart, a well known Lutheran minister of York, died July 11th from Bright’s disease. He was aged 67 years. The Rev. Mr. Lenhart was in the ministry for 42 years. He was a graduate of Susquehanna University, Selins Grove. St. James’ Lutheran church, West York, and Grace Lutheran church, that city, are congregations which were started under the Rev. Mr. Lenhart’s pastorate. Until recently he was the pastor at Holtzschwam church, but resigned because of declining health. The Rev. Mr. Lenhart was a veteran of the Civil war, having been a member of Company H, Two Hundredth Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was also a member of Post 37, G. A. R., of York, of which for a time he was the chaplain. He is survived by the window and the following daughters: Mrs. C. C. Greninger, Patton, Pa.; Mrs. F. B. Sprenkle, Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs. J.
