Delta Herald and Times, Delta, Pennsylvania 4 June 1926
CAPT. WM LOWE
Died at his home in York on Wednesday, May 26, 1926, in his 80th year. The 
body as brought to Delta and taken to the parlors of undertaker John L. 
Norris, where funeral services were held on Friday in charge of Rev. B. W. 
Jones.
     Pallbearers were sons of veterans, Wm. T. BROWN, Ira McDERMOTT, Peter 
BAKER, Edw. HUGHES, Wm. HUSHGES, Wm FISHER, W. J. MYERS.
     Interment was made in the Highland Cemetery.
     Capt. LOWE was a native of Harford county. Early in the Civil war he 
enlisted in a Maryland regiment and had a creditable military record. He lived 
a time at Highland, moving thence to Delta, and more recently to York.
     He leaves his widow and the following children: John G. LOWE, Street, 
Md.; Mrs. James A. LEE, Whiteford, Md., and William J. LOWE and C. S. LOWE, 
York. He also leaves a sister, Miss Mary Jane LOWE, Oe'la, Md.
