He was aged 61 years, 11 months and 1 day. It will be recalled that the deceased was struck by a York trolley car six weeks ago, sustaining severe internal injuries, from the effects of which he never fully recovered. Several days ago he received a paralytic stroke. He was a son of the late Henry and Lovina Luckenbaugh and was born in Penn Township, September 1, 1855. Thirty-two years ago he was married to Mrs. Eliza Shue, of Penn Township. His wife died eighteen months ago. He is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Theodore Eisenberg, two grandchildren, Irvin and Maurice Eisenberg, of Hanover, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jacob Lohr, Penn Township; Mrs. John Musselman, Hanover; Martin Luckenbaugh, Mrs. Charles Topper, York; Mrs. John Fissell, of Woodsboro, Md.; Mrs. Samuel Fissell, of Orrtanna, and a twin brother, Frank Luckenbaugh, of Cold Springs. Funeral, Wednesday, August 9th, services at the house at 2 p.m., Rev. J. H. Hartman officiating. Interment on the family lot in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, August 12, 1916
