All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ George Lynard George Lynard, of South Newberry Street, York, formerly of Hanover, having removed to that city about six years ago, died at 10 o’clock Saturday night at the York hospital. He was admitted to that institution last Wednesday evening. He was in his 58th year. Mr. Lynard had been employed at the plant of the York Manufacturing company until last December when he was stricken by paralysis, which incapacitated him for further labor. Last Wednesday he sustained several more strokes and his condition grew worse, after which he was removed to the York hospital. He leaves the following sons and daughters: Charles, of Hanover; George, at home; Mrs. Charles Saubel, York; Lillian, Dorothea and Elma, all at home, and Mrs. Harry Adams, of Lancaster. Funeral Tuesday afternoon, services at the house at 2 o’clock, Rev. W. H. Snyder officiating. Interment in Mt. Rose cemetery. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, July 29, 1916
