All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ SUNNYBURN RESIDENT DIES IN PHILADELPHIA Sunnyburn, Jan 10, 1928 - Mrs Margaret Main, wife of James Main, this place, at 7 o'clock Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Clothier, Philadelphia. She was aged 61 years. Mrs Main had been in ill health for some time, having entered the Frankford hospital in Philadelphia last July. She was a patient at the hospital ofr seven weeks, later being removed to the home of her daughter where death occured. She was suffering from a compilication of diseases. Besides her husband, Mrs. Main leaves three daughters, Miss Etta Main, of New York city; Mrs. George Clothier, Philadelphia, and Miss Myra Main, Bethlehem, PA; one son, George Main, Philadelphia; four sisters: Mrs. Veasey Chandlee and Mrs. J. M. Wilson, this place and Mrs. John J. Stokes and Mrs. Jacob Skill, Philadelphia; one brother, James Stokes, this place; her step-mother, Mrs. Mary Stokes, McCall's Ferry; two half-sisters, Mrs. William Forward, High Rock and Miss Kate Stokes, McCall's Ferry, and two half-brothers, Morline Stokes, McCall's Ferry, and Samuel Stokes, Holtwood. The body was brought to the Main home here today. Funeral services will take place tomorrow at 2 p.m., at the Pine Grove church, Rev. W. M. Weaver, pastor, officiating. Interment will be made in Pine Grove cemetery. Undertaker John L. Norris, Delta, will be in charge of the funeral. Publication Unknown.
