Susan Markel

Miss Susan Markel died at her late home, near Abbottstown street on Friday, 
December 6th, from a complication of diseases, aged 73 years, 9 months and 26 
days.

The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Markel, of Manchester, 
Md., and moved to Hanover about 22 years ago.  She is survived by four sisters, 
Miss Catharine Markel, and Mrs. Elizabeth Wentz, of this place, and Mrs. 
Margaret Miller, of Baltimore; also by two brothers, Eli Markel, of near 
Manchester, and John Markel, of Manheim, Lancaster county.

Funeral from the house Sunday, December 8th, at 1:30 p.m., further services in 
Trinity Reformed church, Rev. M. J. Roth officiating.  Interment in Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.
