Markle After an illness of four months, from tuberculosis, Emory R. Markle died at his home, 37 Fair avenue, on Sunday evening, July 21, at 4 o’clock. His age was 28 years, 3 months and 26 days. The deceased is survived by his wife, who was Miss Edith Starner, daughter of Mrs. Noah Starner, of York street, and two small children, Norman and Romaine. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Markle, of West Manheim township; three brothers and one sister, Sylvester and Samuel Markle, of near Marburg; Ezra, of Deep River, Iowa, and Mrs. Emory Myers, of West Manheim township. Funeral Wednesday, July 24, services at the house at 9 a.m. Interment at Dubs’ church, Rev. J. R. Hartman officiating. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, July 27, 1912
