MARSTELLER Only son of Wm. T. and Sarah J. MARSTELLER, departed this life August 24, 1907, in his 31st year. He leaves a young wife and three small children; also father and mother and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret P. WILSON, wife of Charles R. WILSON, and Mrs. Clara V. WISE, wife of Samuel W. WISE, to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and a loving and dutiful son. He had not been well for about a year and was suddenly taken worse when his physician thought best to take him to Mt. Hope for treatment as physical weakness had affected his mind. He was kindly cared for there by the good sisters, three of the best physicians attended him, but of no avail. After 9 weeks of extreme weakness God called him and he passed away with a prayer on his lips. His parents desire to thank their friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted them in their sad bereavement. The remains were brought home from Mt. Hope on Saturday evening from the New Park and Fawn Grove R. R., and interred on the 27 of August from his late residence in Fawn Grove. Revs. Treadway and Wright were the officiating ministers in charge of the funeral services. The pallbearers were Dr. Vallie Hawkins, Nelson Merryman, Wm. Duncan and Clay Richardson, five of whom were fellow members of the Knights of Pythias Lodge, of which the deceased was also a member, and was buried under the auspices of the Order in the M.P. graveyard. The deceased was a member of the Friends church, by request when but a small boy. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 2.1 Kb
