MARSTELLER, widows of John MARSTELLER, and the oldest resident of Hopewell township, died at the home of her son, J. Y. C. MARSTELLER, near here at 5:45 p.m. today, from infirmities of old age, following an illness of five weeks. She was aged 97 years, eight months and 23 days. Mrs. MARSTELLER was born in Hopewell township, near New Park, and had lived in the vicinity all her life. She was a life-long member of the Center Presbyterian church. The deceased is survived by 175 descendants, including three sons, William T. MARSTELLER, Fawn Grove; J. Nelson MARSTELLER, Red Lion; J. Y. C. MARSTELLER with whom she lived; four daughters, Mrs. Mary B. WATTERS of Aberdeen, Md; Mrs. Rebert VANSANT, Forest Hill, Md.; Mrs. Lydia A. GROVE, Stewartstown, R.D.; Mrs. Jennie McLAUGHLIN, Red Lion; 81 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday, meeting at the house at 1 p.m. Services will ee conducted at the Center Presbyterian church by Rev. Ralph W. Hand, pastor. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Funeral Director W. Howard Webb, Fawn Grove and Stewartstown has charge of the arrangements. -------- MARSTELLER-On April 24, 1929, at 5:45 p.m. at the residence of her son, J. Y. C. Marsteller, near Stewartstown, Mrs. Margaret S.[S is in error] MARSTELLER, widow of John MARSTELLER, aged 97 years, 8 months and 22 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, meeting at the house at 1 p.m. Services in the Center Presbyterian church. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Body may be viewed at the home anytime. The casket will not be opened at the church.
