ROBERT McELWAIN
A retired farmer of New Park, died last Saturday after an illness of several 
months from hardening of the arteries. He was 64 years of age. Mr. McELWAIN 
leaves his wife; five sons, Walter, Roy, Carl and Kenneth, all farmers of near 
New Park; Dr. Howard McELWAIN, Baltimore; nine grandchildren, and five sisters 
and two brothers, as follows: Mrs. Sylvania MARSTELLER, Stewartstown, R. D.; 
Mrs. James NEAL and Mrs. Ella MALOY, California; Miss Rachel McELWAIN, 
Harrisburg; Mrs. William ALLEN, Gorsuch Mills, Md.; Clay McELWAIN, Fawn Grove, 
now in Florida, and Will McELWAIN, Maryland. Mr. McELWAIN was an elder of 
Centre Presbyterian church for 20 years.
