Mrs. W. J. M’Guigan, Near Stewartstown, Dies in Hospital

Stewartstown, April 27 – Mrs. Carrie Delphine McGUIGAN, wife of William J. 
MCGUIGAN, Hopewell township near here, died at the York hospital at 3 p.m. 
yesterday, after an operation for gallstones. She had been a patient at the 
hospital since Tuesday. She was aged 59 years, two months and  28(?) days. 
Surviving are her husband, three sons: Leonard, Shrewsbury; Marshall, York; and 
Bruce at home. Three daughters Mrs. Joseph SOMERS of Washington D. C.; Mrs. 
Joseph HILL of York; Mrs. William HOLLINGER, Glen Rock; a sister Miss Lillian 
FISHEL, Stewartstown, and a brother Dale FISHEL, of Reading. The body was 
removed from the hospital today and taken to the funeral home of  W. Howard 
Webb, of Fawn Grove. It will be taken to the McGuigan home tomorrow. Funeral 
services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the house. The Rev. T. Edwin 
REDDING, pastor of the Stewartstown Presbyterian church, will officiate. 
Interment will be made in the Stewartstown cemetery.
