McKinney, Jr., proprietor of the American Hotel, Thursday, Feb. 27, at 8 a.m., being in her 78th year. Since the death of her husband, June 3, 1910, the deceased lived alone at her residence, No. 236 Baltimore street. She became ill about 10 days ago and on Tuesday was removed to the home of her son, and placed under the care of a trained nurse, Mrs. Jessie Doyle, of Philadelphia. The deceased is survived by one son, John I. McKinney; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Bair, of Astoria, Illinois; and three brothers – George Myers, of Littlestown; Emanuel Myers, of Philadelphia, and Daniel Myers, of Vermont, Illinois. Sunday afternoon the remains of the deceased will be conveyed to her late home, and the funeral will take place Monday, March 3, from St. Joseph’s church, where a high requiem mass will be solemnized by the rector, Rev. Joseph A. Huber, at 9 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, March 1, 1913
