Mrs. John G. Menges

Mrs. Margaret Menges, wife of John G. Menges, Postmaster at Menges Mills, died 
at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, after a brief illness from Bright’s disease.  She was 
aged about 50 years.

The deceased was a daughter of William Foust, of Glen Rock, and was married 28 
years ago to John G. Menges, eldest son of the late Peter Menges, of Menges 
Mills.

Besides her husband and father, two children survive, Mrs. R. P. Smith, of 
Frederick, Md., and Miss Elizabeth Menges, at home.  One sister, Mrs. Amos 
Hoffman, of Landisville, Lancaster County, and three brothers, John, William and 
Frederick Foust, of Glen Rock, also survive.
