Mrs. Jacob H. Michael

Mrs. Jacob H. Michael, another aged, and esteemed citizen of Hanover, passed 
away at her home, No. 146 Baltimore street, at 3 a.m., August 19th, after a 
protracted illness from a complication of diseases.  Her age was 72 years, 8 
months and 23 days.

Mrs. Michael’s maiden name was Miss Augusta Haberkorn, and she was born in 
Langanjelben, Germany, coming to America when 16 years of age.

She is survived by her husband, four sons and four daughters, as follows:  
Howard M. Michael, Miles E. Michael, Curvin M. Michael, Mrs. William Flohr, of 
Hanover, and Miss Cora Michael, at home; Mrs. Jacob Snyder, of Mt. Washington, 
Baltimore county, Md., Mrs. Joseph Schmidt and Robert J. Michael, of Washington, 
D. C.

Funeral Thursday, August 21, services at her late home at 2 p.m., Rev. W. I 
Redcay, of St. Paul’s Lutheran church, officiating.  Interment in Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.
