Miller Hallam, July 17 – Mrs. Stella Dehoff Miller, wife of George H. Miller, died at 3:35 a.m. today at her home, Hallam R. D. 1, after an illness of four weeks. She was a daughter of the late Moses and Malinda Dehoff Waser. Mrs. Miller was 47 years old. Besides her husband, she leaves these children: Catharine A. Miller, at home; Private First Class Nelson G. Miller, with the army in Saipan; Private First Class Kenneth R. Miller, who is home after having been a prisoner of the Germans; Earl V. Miller, Thomasville; Mildred I., Erma G., Russell F., Amy E., Ray L., Glenn A. and Elvin G. Miller, all at home. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. John Fried, York R. D. 7, and a brother, Ervin D. Waser, York R. D. 1. She was a member of the Fairmount Evangelical church, Highmount. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday from her home, with concluding services in the church of which she was a member. The Rev. Lewis E. Kline, pastor, will officiate.
