Mitzel, daughter of James E. and Matilda M. Mitzel. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the residence of her parents at 835 Prospect Street, Tuesday afternoon, at 2:00. Interment in Mt. Rose Cemetery. York newspaper, York, Pennsylvania ------------ Anna M. Mitzel Anna M. Mitzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Mitzel, who died on Saturday afternoon, was buried at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted at the Mitzel, 825 Prospect Street, by Rev. Walter H. Traub, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church. The pallbearers were: Charles Eyster, Earl Becker, J. I. Spangler, George Saltzgiver, Milton Martin, and Philip Senft. Burial made in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Source: York newspaper, York, Pennsylvania handwritten May 27, 1925 ----------- Anna M. Mitzel Miss Anna M. Mitzel, daughter of James E. and Matilda Mitzel, died Saturday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock at her home, 835 Prospect Street, after a long illness. The deceased was a member of Christ Evangelical church and a member of the Sunday school. She was a treasurer of her Sunday school class. She was also treasurer on the Always Ready Mission band of the church for the past eight years. For a number of years Miss Mitzel was it actively engaged in teaching music. She was a member of the Music League of York and had ably assisted the choir of Messiah Lutheran Church, Prospect Street, as pianist for number of years. She was accompanist of the lately organized York Male Quartet. Besides her parents she leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Clayton B. Anstine, Mrs. Harry L. Smith, Leon R. Mitzel and Mason L. Mitzel, all of the city. The funeral will be held from the home of her parents on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. W. H. Traub, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will take place in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
