MITZEL - On July 16, 1945 at 9:30 a.m. at the home of her son and daughter-in-
law, Mrs. and Mrs. Warren H. Mitzel, Shrewsbury, Carrie Edith Mitzel, aged 56 
years 7 months and 23 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Thursday afternoon at 
1:30 p.m. with all services at E. B. Burg and son Funearal home, Red Lion, 
Interment in Red Lion cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday evening at E. B. Burg and Son Funeral home 7 oto 9 
p.m.

MRS CARRIE MITZEL, FORMER RESIDENT OF WINTERSTOWN, DIES
WINTERSTOWN - Mrs. Carrie Edith MITZEL, wife of the late Melvin Felix MITZEL, 
formerly of Winterstown, died at 9:30 o'clock Monday mmorning as a result of a 
heart disease, after being bedfast five days, at the home of her son and 
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Warren MITZEL, Shrewsbury.  She was 56 years old.
     She was a member of the Daughters of Pocahontas lodge of Glen Rock.  Mrs. 
MITZEL is survived by the following children: Howard C. MITZEL, 949 West 
Cottage place, York; Mrs. Alzetta B. McLAUGHLIN, York, R.D. 2, Warren H. 
MITZEL, Shrewsbury; Melvin S. MITZEL, Jacobus; one sister Miss Clara REAM Red 
Lion, one brother Elmer WALLICK 935 South Pine street YOrk; and 12 
grandchildren
     Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 Thursday afternoon at the E. 
B. Burg and Son's Funeral home, Red Lion. Interment will be in Rred Lion 
Cemetery.  Rev Charles MITZELL, Shrewsbury, will be the officiating minister.

MRS. CARRIE E. MITZEL, WINTERSTOWN, BURIED
WINTERSTOWN - Funeral services for Carrie Edith MITZEL, wife of the late 
Melvin Felix MITZEL, who died Monday at the home of her son and daughter-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Warren MITZEL, Shrewsbuty, were conducted yesterday 
afternoon from the E. B. Burg and Son Funeral home, Red Lion.
     Rev. Charles MITZEL, Shrewsbury, was the officiating minister. 
Pallbearers were: Clyde OVERMILLER, Luther OVERMILLER, Carl OVERMILLER, Walter 
OVERMILLER, Morgan OVERMILLER and Carl ALMONEY. Interment was in the Red Lion 
Cemetery
