ELMER J. MITZEL
Elmer J. MITZEL died yesterday morning at 8:45 o'clock at his  home, 509 South 
Queen Street, following a lingering illness to a complication of diseases.  He 
is survived by two daughters, Miss Ida and Miss Margaret MITZEL, both at home; 
two sisters, Miss Martha MITZEL, of the city, and Miss Clara MITZEL, of Cly, 
and three brothers, Clinton MITZEL, NY; Robert MITZEL, Cly, and  Emanuel 
MITZEL, York R.D.  Mr. MITZEL was a former policeman, under the administration 
of John R. Lafean.  He was a member of York aerie 183, Fraternal Order of 
Eagles, the Laurel Fire company and a Fireman's Relief Association.  The 
funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon with services at the house a 3:00 
conducted by the Rev. A. F. Weaver, pastor of Trinity Evangelical church.  
Burial be made in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
