Emanuel E. Mitzel
Emanuel E. Mitzel, an employe of the city and one of York's oldest volunteer 
firemen who resided at 606 South Queen street, died yesterday morning at 11:03 
o'clock at the York hospital, where he had been a medical patient since 
October 22. Death was caused by a complication of diseases.  He was in his 
eighty-first year. He is survived by a son, Earl E. Mitzel, Reading; a 
daughter, Mae Selling, Detroit, and a sister Martha Mitzel, York. For the past 
forty years Mr. Mitzel was employed by the city and was assigned to duty on 
Penn Common. He was a member of the Laurel Fire company.

Emanuel Mitzel
    The funeral of Emanuel Mitzel, 604 South Queen street, who died in the 
York hospital on Monday morning was held yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock 
from the C. A. Strack Memorial chapel, George and Princess streets.  Services 
were in charge of Rev. J. Willard Krecker.  The active pallbearers were the 
fellow members of the Laurel Fire company: Millard Spangler, John Emig, Harry 
Wecker and Robert Smith. Interment was in Prospect Hill cemetery.

MITZEL - On Nov 11, 1935 at 11 a.m. at the York Hospital, Emanuel Mitzel, 604 
S. Queen St, aged 80 years, 7 months and 10 days.
     Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the 
C. A. Strack Memorial Chapel, Wednesday afternoon at 3:30. Interment in 
Prospect Hill cemetery.
