Mitzel, aged 67 years 10 months and 11 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral services at Zion Lutheran Church, South Duke Street, Saturday at 3 o'clock, our time. The body will lie in state at the C. A. Strack and Son funeral parlors, Friday evening for any relatives or friends. Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery York Newspaper, York, Pennsylvania ------- Jacob F. Mitzel Jacob F. Mitzel, local manager for a number of insurance companies, who had his office lately and his home, 222 East Philadelphia Street, died at 6 o'clock yesterday morning at the York hospital. Death was caused by a complication of diseases, after an illness of about six months. He was a patient at the hospital for one month. Mr. Mitzel was a member of Zion Lutheran church. He was a former newspaperman, having been employed in the business department of your dispatch and the old York press. He leaves one son Earle Leroy; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Claudine Biddle and Miss Rebecca F. Mitzel, all of the city; two brothers, James, of this city, and George, of California, and one sister, Mrs. Ellen Brenneman, of Stony Brook. The body was removed from the hospital to the funeral parlor associates track and son, George and Princess streets. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon, at 3 o'clock from Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. G. Albert Getty, pastor of Zion church, officiating. Burial be made in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mitzel, 222 East Philadelphia Street, well-known insurance agent, who died of York hospital on Wednesday morning, was held Saturday. The body was viewed by many relatives and friends between 7-9 o'clock Friday evening at the funeral parlor of C. A. Strack and Son, George Princess streets. Services over his body were conducted at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Zion Lutheran Church, to which congregation he belonged, the tester, Rev. G. Albert Getty, officiating. Pall bearers were: Leon, Mason, Morris and Ralph Mitzel and Stuart Brenneman. Burial will be made in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
