Rinely,  March 14 -- the funeral of James M. F. MITZEL, a former resident of 
this section, who died Saturday morning, was held Tuesday afternoon.  Free 
services were held at 1 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard BOWERS, of 
Laurel R.D. with further services in the Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, with 
the pastor.  Rev. George D. Laird, officiating.  Interment was made in the 
Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  The pall bearers were: J. Ralph HOWETT, Leslie 
HERSHNER, Reyburn BRENNEMAN, Howard PALEY, Burnice NORRIS and John HERSHNER.

JAMES M. F. MITZEL, FORMER RESIDENT LAUREL SECTION, DIES
Laurel, March 16 -- James M. F. MITZEL, a former resident of this vicinity, 
died Saturday morning at the County home.  Death was caused by a complication 
diseases.  He was aged 77 years and 10 months.  Surviving are a son, Bertie 
MITZEL, Felton, and two brothers, S. M. G. MITZEL, this place, and Elmer E. 
MITZEL, Dallastown.  The funeral will be held Tuesday with brief services at 
H. M. BOWERS, this place, at 1 PM and further services at the Mount Pleasant 
Church, near Rinely.  Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the 
church.
