Mrs. John W. Mitzel
Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia I. Mitzel, wife of John W. Mitzel, 875 East 
King Street, who died Thursday morning at her residence, were held yesterday 
afternoon at the Henry Sleeger and Sons funeral home, 822 East Market Street. 
Rev. Oliver S. Hartman, pastor of the Emmanuel Reformed Church, officiated. 
Pallbears were: Jack Blum, Russell Dick, Robert Dick, Millard Kunkle, Arthur 
Murphy and Elmer Eichelberger. Interment was in Mt. Rose Cemetery.

Mrs. John W. Mitzel
Mrs. Lydia Mitzel, wife of John W. Mitzel, 875 East King Street, died 
yesterday morning at 7:30 o'clock at her home. Mrs. Mitzel who was 63, died 
from a complication diseases.
     Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mary Kemper, 35 East Church 
Avenue; a son, Staff Sergeant John D. Mitzel, Camp Somerset, Maryland; six 
grandchildren; three brothers, Daniel Witmer and Harry Witmer both of York, 
and George Witmer, Windsor, and two sisters, Hattie Witmer and Mrs. Lottie 
Dick, both of York.
     Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 from the Henry's 
Sleeger and Sons Memorial Funeral home, 822 East Market Street. Rev. Gerald G. 
Neely, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in 
Mt. Rose Cemetery.
